Aubrey Jane

So I did a little singing last night with my friend Darren and he recorded it.  It’s a cover of Andrew Bird’s Bowl of Fire’s “Headsoak.”  Pretty fun to record a song by one of my favorite musicians with one of my favorite musicians.

I think it’s pretty ok with minimal practice and being recorded on garageband from a couch, no?  Now if I could only sing the word “hour” without sounding like I’m totally back woods, that would be awesome.  

I really had a great time on the first of and hopefully several collaborations.  It really was a huge stepping stone for me to do this.  I’ve always wanted to do some singing and I’m slooooowly getting over my fear of singing for people/with people.
